Angela Murphy is a Queensland playwright and storyteller. Her mother Molly was a keen birdwatcher and shared her love of Australian birds with her. Angela wrote this story to pass on the wonder of birds and storytelling to her granddaughters, Chloe and Maisie. She divides her time between the vibrant city of Brisbane and the tropical paradise of Cairns, drawing inspiration from Queensland's diverse landscapes and unique bird life.

Tianni Fazio is a Brisbane-based artist and illustrator with a love of Australian colours and environment. Tianni's work captures the life and stories of urban Australia. She specialises in house and garden illustrations, capturing the personality of birds is a familiar narrative in her imagery.
